I have loved maintaining this blog on books and social justice, but my voice and opinions don’t represent every single community I am a part of.

Here at Liberation is Lit, I am all about uplifting the voices and stories of the marginalized. I center the experiences of the oppressed to drive social change.

That is why I need you, community! If you would like to contribute your voice or story to this blog, Writers of all levels and experiences are welcomed in the space.

Whether you are looking to get more practice writing, looking for more exposure for your own blog or projects, or just like writing about books and/or social justice for fun, this is the place for you!

How do I submit my article or pitch?

You can email me through the website or at liberationislit@liberationislit! Pitches or full posts will be accepted.

What kinds of posts are accepted?

Anything related to books, social justice, community development, or self or community care. This could be reviews, lists, think pieces, personal essays, etc. The possibilities are endless!

Are there any writing guidelines?

Yes! Once you send your pitches, I will send you some things to keep in mind to make sure your piece is inclusive and fits the vibe of the blog.

Is this a paid opportunity?

Unfortunately, I am unable to pay contributors at this time.

Can I contribute more than one post?

Yes! You can submit as many posts as you would like, either at one time or as often as you would like.
