Books for Radical Imagination

Books for Radical Imagination

We, in opposition to these oppressive ideologies, spend so much of our time fighting back and surviving, which is what they want from us. They want us to burn out our bodies, minds, and spirits so that we are too exhausted to dream of anything else. We love to tout Audre Lorde’s quote about not using the master’s tools to dismantle the master’s house but burning ourselves out, glorifying sacrificing our well-being for the struggle, and feeling that the fight and struggle are all we have are the master’s tools.

Please take this as my case for radical imagination, much of which comes from reading. This is what I mean when I say reading is resistance.
